Eastern side of the Notre-Dame, which is a very lovely part as well. Notice the open buttresses (steunberen) with a span of 15 m.

The photo overlooks the Square Jean XXIII (named after the pope). The gothic fountain is from 1845. The garden continues on the south side along the Seine. We decided to walk back to the subway this way.
