Markets of Traianus
Built by emperor Traianus and his architect Appolodorus of Damascus in 110-112 AD. Roman equivalent of the modern shopping mall; about 150 shops and offices. Think silk, spices from the Middle East, fish, vegetables, flowers and cafes.
