A last result from the PME course, being a sugarpaste plaque with brushed embroidery on it. For this technique you first transfer a pattern on your cake, in this case the outlines of three flowers and a border arrangment. You prepare sevarel piping bags with coloured Royal icing in it. You pipe a little part of the pattern, and then you brush the line right away with a damp brush. This effect can be seen best in the corners of the plaque; I piped a red and a pink line and then brushed them together. You do this line for line, because the Royal icing dries out very fast.
